meet normal requirements, while 18 gauge
shelves provide additional support where

a 1" x 1" 12 gauge reinforcing angle
(rebar) placed into the front flange of the
shelf.

II
With
rebars placed into the front and rear flanges
of the shelf.

III
With
rebars placed into the front and rear shelf
flanges, plus a third rebar (double notched)
across the center of the shelf from front
to back.
CLASS
IV
With
metered rebars placed into all four (4) shelf
flanges.
CLASS
V
With
metered rebars placed into all four (4) shelf
flanges, plus a fifth rebar (double notched)
across the center of the same shelf from front
to back.
